James Allen Faulstich, age 63 of Elwood, died January 2, 2011 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness. He was born December 20, 1947 in Elwood, Indiana. He retired in 1996 from Delco Remy in Anderson where he worked in Production for 30 years. He was a 1966 graduate of Frankton High School. He married Phyllis R. Strong on May 2, 1966. He was a member of the Tipton Church of Christ. He was also a car enthusiast, avid Colts Football fan, and enjoyed fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved dogs ? Peaches, Teddy, and Ricky. Survivors include: Wife of 44 years ? Phyllis R. (Strong) Faulstich of Elwood; Daughter ? Angela Marie Davis of Elwood; Son ? James Allen Faulstich, Jr. and wife Sharon of Noblesville; 5 Grandchildren ? David Davis, Matthew Davis, Kassandra Faulstich, Michael Berning, and Jeremy Berning; 4 Great-Grandchildren ? Railee, Skye, Jazzlynn, and Braxton; Triplet Brother ? David and wife Christine Faulstich of Elwood; Sister ? Patty and husband Charles Williams of Rogers, AR; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: Parents ? Bernard V. and Mary E. (Doores) Faulstich; Triplet Brother ? Charles Faulstich; Grandson ? Nicholas Davis; Grandparents ? Vernon & Marie Doores and Charles & Lottie Faulstich. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Jim Dillinger officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
