Jacqulyn J. Peterson, age 76 of Anderson and formerly of Elwood, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness. She was born August 14, 1936 in Elwood the daughter of Paul and Ruth (Short) Fox. She was a devoted homemaker and housewife most of her life, and also formerly worked at Guide Lamp Corporation in Anderson and the Toast Restaurant in downtown Anderson. She married Carl P. Peterson on January 26, 1953. She was an active member of the T.O.P.S. Fitness Club in Anderson, and she especially enjoyed going to rummage sales. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her loving family includes husband of 59 years, Carl P. Peterson of Anderson; 3 sons, Carl P. Peterson, Jr. who lives in Paradise, Terry L. (wife Sharon) Peterson of Anderson, and Tracy G. Peterson (companion Teresa Barrett) both of Anderson; half-sister, Brenda Lanning of Anderson; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 sisters, Pat Derickson, Sheree Wilson, and Joan Cole.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Nate Warren of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
