Ivan R. Kantner, age 41 of Elwood, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born October, 19, 1972 in Elwood, the son of Michael G. and Rebecca A. (Stanley) Kantner. He attended Elwood schools and was self-employed in the construction industry. Ivan was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He was friendly to everyone and always had a smile on his face.

Ivan's family includes his mother, Rebecca A. Kantner of Elwood; daughter, Valerie Kantner of Noblesville; sister, Rhonda A. (husband Jeff) Goforth of Tipton; brother, Michael G. (wife Linda) Kantner of Westfield; and nephew, Nathan Goforth of Elwood. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael G. Kantner who died February 22, 2004.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Bill Foster officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the funeral home.
