Infant Lincoln Matthew Taylor was born into Heaven unexpectedly at birth on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson.  Lincoln is the son of Elwood Police Officer, Zach R. and Gretchen (Easter) Taylor.  Lincoln is survived by his parents of Elwood; brother, Leland Wade Taylor at home; paternal grandparents, Matthew & Donna Taylor of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Wade Easter of Kokomo and Tina (husband Josh) Brown of Elwood; paternal great-grandparents, Merrill Taylor of Elwood, Sharon Boerner of Anderson, and Jay (wife Trish) Deford of Anderson; maternal great-grandparents, Floyd Easter of Kokomo and Richard & Brenda Miller of Michigan; 3 uncles, Austin Taylor, Elliott (wife Brandi) Taylor and their son, Everett, and Quenten (Ashley) Easter; 2 aunts, Madelyn Easter and Sarah Brown; and many extended family members.

A private memorial service honoring Lincoln will be conducted at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Sister Rosie Coughlin (former chaplain at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital) officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the "Benjie Fund" (for stillborn infants) at Community Hospital in Anderson, through the funeral home.  Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home is honored to care for the Taylor family.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
