Graydon moved his family from Sunnyvale to San Jose in 1972 where Graydon worked as an accountant for Santa Clara County, California. In 1993, Graydon retired to spend more time researching and investing in the New York Stock Exchange and pursuing his love of agriculture. He enjoyed growing almond, apple, apricot, lemon, orange, and tangerine trees as well as planting a garden in his 3/4 acre backyard every spring with a variety of vegetables from acorn squash to zucchini. Sharing an abundant harvest with other always gave him joy.
Graydon loved being a grandfather to Grace and James. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buell and Mona; sister, Miriam Anne Gilmore; and his younger brother, Joseph Haskett. Graydon is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice; son, Henry (wife Margaret) Haskett; and his beloved grandchildren, James and Grace Haskett.
