Obituary

Garry "Todd" Jolliff, age 47 of Alexandria, died July 2, 2011 at St. John's Health System in Anderson following an extended illness. He was born January 30, 1964 in Elwood. He worked at the Borg-Warner Company in Muncie for 10 years, and retired in 1994. He attended Elwood Community High School and the Hinds Vocational School. He later attended Ivy Tech College for two years. He married Lorie A. Lundy on September 8, 1984. Todd was a member of the National Rifle Association, and was an avid gun, knife, and coin collector. He was also a member of the Alexandria Eagles Lodge and the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by: Wife – Lorie A. (Lundy) Jolliff of Alexandria; Mother – Judy (Everling) and husband Terry Shepard of Fairmount; 2 Daughters – Collette (Nathan) Watson of Alexandria and Jacklyn Jolliff (Companion Brian Peyton) of Alexandria; 2 Sons – Garry L. Jolliff (Companion Carrie Jones) of Alexandria and Austin R. Jolliff of Alexandria; Sister – Traci (Wayne) Harrell of Marion; 7 Grandchildren – Jonathon Watson, Danny Todd Watson, Douglas Watson, Isabella Watson, Garry A. Jolliff, Anna Jolliff, Adam Jolliff; Great-Grandmother – Arlene Everling of Greentown; and 2 Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Garry D. Jolliff; Grandmother – Rosemary Bateman; Grandfathers – Adam Mroz, James Bateman, and Pete Everling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will take place in Knox Chapel Cemetery in rural Fairmount. Visitation will held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
