Eric N. Walsh, age 54 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness and a long history of health issues.  He was born July 19, 1963 in Elwood, the son of William Earl Walsh and Nila "Kay" Robbins.  Eric worked in maintenance at Standard Lock Company in Indianapolis and retired 2015 on disability.  He was a 1981 graduate of Tri-Central High School.  He married Jayne J. Eric's family includes his wife, Jayne J. (Kelich) Walsh of Elwood; brother, Scott Walsh (wife Susie Ragan) of Sharpsville; family members, Daphne (husband Chris) Noone of Elwood and Dawn (husband Blair) Dunn of Tipton; extended family members, Jessie Noone, Taylor Noone, Darci Dunn, Wyatt Dunn, and Arden Dunn; nieces and nephews, Travis Walsh, Ethan Walsh, Devin Walsh (and son Noah Watts), Emily Martin, and Lilly Ragan; best friends, Shaun (wife Lorie) Stephens and Scott Beeman; and beloved dog, "Bandit".  Eric was preceded in death by his parents and beloved step-father, Robert "Bob" John.

Per Eric's wishes, cremation will take place.  Services will be held privately at a later date.  Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home has been entrusted with Eric's funeral arrangements.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Elwood Shop-with-a-Cop Program, c/o the Elwood Police Department, 1505 South B Street, Elwood, IN 46036.  Online expressions of condolence may be made to the Walsh family at copherfeslermay.com.
