Elizabeth Deloris Sexton, age 66, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 14, 2016 at her daughter's home in Fishers after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born December 22, 1949 in Anderson, the daughter of Addis Arthur and Wanda (Taylor) Malone. Deloris retired from Ambu Corporation (formerly King Systems) in Noblesville in September of 2015 after nearly 10 years of service in production. She was a devoted member of the Open Door Free Methodist Church in Noblesville. Following the death of her son, Anthony, Deloris became an avid supporter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She enjoyed reading and connecting with friends and family through social media - especially Facebook; and also took pride in caring for her houseplants. More than anything Deloris will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family.
Deloris' family includes 2 daughters, Lisa (husband Scott) Manship of Elwood, and Laura (husband Alan) Artale of Fishers; son, Leland (fiancée Meriah) Sexton of Elwood; 15 grandchildren, Aaron, Heather, Adrienne, Matthew, Christopher, Jacob, Alexander, Christopher, Zachary, Anthony, Austin, Nicholas, Conner, Caleb, and Victoria; 4 great-grandchildren, Avery, Asherr, Blayze, and Lilliana; 5 siblings, Barbara Blankenship of Anderson, Betty Schwartz of Anderson, Evelyn (husband Richard) Gregg of Anderson, Nina Foland of Anderson, and Bill (wife Ruth) Malone of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; son, Anthony L. Sexton in 2009; and 2 brothers, John and Wendell Malone.
A funeral service celebrating Deloris' life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Jeff Gammon of the Open Door Free Methodist Church of Noblesville officiating.
