Edwin E. Frazee, age 72 of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.  He was born November 12, 1945 in Elwood, the son of Virgil and Marjorie (Harmon) Frazee.   Ed worked as a Senior Project Graphic Design Engineer for Guide Lamp division of General Motors in Anderson for 43 years, and retired in 2007.  Ed was raised on his family's farm, and this upbringing was very important to him.  He was a 1963 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School, and also received specialized training with General Motors.  He married his wife, Anhtuyet, on December 31, 1995, and they have shared over 22 years of marriage together.  Ed was a man of strong faith in God and formerly attended the First Assembly of God in Anderson for many years.  He enjoyed golfing, working on classic muscle cars, boating and spending time on the water, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Ed went on several memorable trips on his motorcycle, and he had also ridden to Sturgis.  He especially enjoyed spending time in his garage working on all kinds of things.  Ed loved his kids and grandkids more than anything in the world, and he was also proud to have been a foster parent to over 80 children over many the years with his former wife, Diana.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed jokes and meeting regularly with the retiree's breakfast club for fellowship with his friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed's family legacy includes his wife, Anhtuyet Frazee of Alexandria; 5 children, Chris Frazee (partner Debbie) of Ogden, UT, Jeff Frazee (wife Quinette) of Alexandria, Breezy Frazee of Anderson, Brook Hart (fiance' Dustin) of Gaston, and Kaa'Anna Frazee (significant other Larry) of Anderson; 3 siblings, Leonard Frazee (wife Jonny Sue) of South Carolina, Kay Frazee-Beckel of Westfield, and Denver Frazee of Westfield; 13 grandchildren, Blakely, Taylor, Mason, McLain, Whitney, Jessica, Jeffery, Matthew, Drake, Alexis, Anthony, Kalieya, and Tracy; 7 great-grandchildren and another expected in 2019; and several nieces and nephews.  Ed was preceded in death by both his parents and his former wife, Diana Frazee who passed in 1995.

A funeral service celebrating Ed's life and faith will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Nathan Whybrew of the Frankton United Methodist Church officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 6:00pm on Wednesday prior to the funeral at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Benchmark Family Services Foster Care – 1750 E. 53 ^rd Street, Anderson, IN 46013.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
