Obituary

E. Louise Call, age 91, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at CrownPointe Senior Living Community in Anderson following a brief illness. She was born January 1, 1922 in Wise County, Virginia, the daughter of Gilbert and Lillie Mae (Robinette) Bradley. She was a clerk for Burke Pharmacy and Hinshaw's Drug Store both in Elwood, and retired in 1978. Louise married Hubert L. Call in on February 19, 1942 and they enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing on July 6, 2002. Following retirement, she moved to Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Louise enjoyed spending time on the lake, china painting, and hosting many family and friends who came to visit. She returned to Indiana in 1998 and resided at CrownPoint Senior Living Community in Anderson. She was a member of the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church and the Swayzee chapter of Order of Eastern Star.

Louise's family includes 4 children, James (wife Emily) Call and Mary (husband Hershel) McCorkle all of Anderson, William Call of Great Mills, Maryland, and Ronald (wife Nancy) Call of Muncie; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; brother-in-law, Row Call of Lavonia, Michigan; 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Savage, Lorene Call, and Joyce Call all of Elwood; a niece; and several nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Hubert L. Call; 3 brothers, James Bradley, Charles Bradley, and Benny Bradley; sister, Jeanette Shauver; and great-grandchild, Skyler Lee.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Mark D. Helm of St. Matthew United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the K. of P. – I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 3 to 7 PM at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home. Louise's family would especially like to thank St. Vincent Hospice, Anderson Regional Hospital, and CrownPointe Senior Living Community in Anderson for the exceptional care they provided to Louise.
