Dorotha Doraine (Bailey) Bandy , age 93 of Robinson, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Elwood Health & Living care center in Elwood after a long, fulfilling life.  She had been living in Elwood to be close to her son for the past several months.  She was born November 10, 1927 at home in Gordon Junction, IL (Robinson) to Parmer H. and Iantha Joy (Drake) Bailey, and she lived most of her early life in Palestine, IL.  Doraine graduated from Palestine High School in 1945.  She married Ken Larrison on March 22, 1947, and they had three sons, Roger, Richard "Rick" and John.

Except for four years as an office manager in a dermatology office and two years in the Houpt's Music Store in Robinson, she was a full-time mom, wife, and homemaker.  Doraine was a devout believer in the Lord and loved her church family very much.  She especially enjoyed reading and studying the Bible.

Surviving Doraine are three sons and their wives, Roger and Mary Jane Larrison of Elwood, Richard "Rick" Larrison & Allyson Douglas of Noblesville, and John and Tommi Larrison of Tryon, NC; grandchildren, Renee Larrison of Austin, TX and Ben Larrison of Port Richey, FL; and two great-grandsons, Isaac Larrison and Gavin Larrison who lovingly called her "GiGi".

Preceding her in death were her parents; 1 ^st husband, Kenneth L. Larrison; 2 ^nd husband, Carlos Bandy; step-daughter, Mary Ann Bandy; and a grandson, Marc Larrison (Rick & Allyson).

A funeral service celebrating the life of Doraine Larrison-Bandy will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 at 11:00 am Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL with her son, Rev. Roger Larrison, officiating.  Interment will follow the services in the Palestine City Cemetery in Palestine, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson.  Memorial contributions may be made to Elwood Health & Living, Activities Fund in memory of Doraine Bandy - 2300 Parkview Lane, Elwood, IN  46036.  Local arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
