Obituary

Diana S. Wallace, age 74 of Indianapolis and formerly of Elwood, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Brooke Knoll Village in Avon following an extended and courageous battle with cancer.  She was born July 12, 1943 in Elwood, the daughter of John and Martha (McArthur) Nacoff.  Diana was a 1961 graduate of Alexandria high school.  She worked as a welfare processor for the State of Indiana for over 30 years, and retired in 2012.  Diana enjoyed going to concerts, and loved music in general - especially Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones.  She also liked to watch and attend Indiana Pacers basketball games.  Diana truly loved her family, and loved spoiling her grandchildren, particularly her granddaughter.  More than anything, she will be remembered for always having a good time and making the most of time with her family.

Diana's family legacy includes daughter, Kelly (husband David) Albertson of Brownsburg; son, Greg (wife Terri) Riser of Putnamville; 4 grandchildren, Luke Albertson, Emily Albertson, Reese Riser, and Jesse Riser; and several nieces and nephews.  Diana was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Boris Nacoff, John Nacoff, Jr., and Stephen "Larry" Nacoff; and 3 sisters, Leona Welches, Mildred Pebernat and Eula Sizelove.

Per Diana's wishes, cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be held.  Burial of her ashes will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery.  Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home is honored to care for Diana's cremation arrangements.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Marion County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
