Diana Lynn Christian, age 67 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness and recent stroke. She was born December 29, 1947 in Elwood, the daughter of Norval "Charles" and Wanda (Niccum) Coe. Diana retired in 2002 from Sharon's Home Care in Atlanta where she worked for several years as a home health aide. She also formerly worked at various healthcare facilities. She attended Elwood schools and had a passion for caring for her family and others. She enjoyed crafting and knitting, and especially loved spending time with children. She married Donald E. Christian on March 28, 1992. Diana will be greatly missed by all her family members and friends.

Diana's family includes her husband of more than 23 years, Donald E. Christian of Elwood, 5 children, Cheryl Deweese of Danville, IL, Diana Deweese of Peru, Kellie Jo Lacy of Elwood, James Deweese of Elwood, and Shawn Deweese of Elwood; 3 step-children, Kellie Christian of Kokomo, Tammy Christian of Kokomo, and Beth Ann Weese of Kokomo; 2 sisters, Ramona (husband Kenny) Morrisett of Tipton and Delores Watson of Elwood; brother, Carlos "Don" (wife Judy) Coe of Windfall; 7 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Charles "Bud" Coe and Tom Coe; and 3 sisters, Barbara Johnson, Rhonda Sargent, and Wanda Scheffer.

A funeral service celebrating Diana's life will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral home with Pastor Rose Sorenson officiating. Burial will take place at Phlox Cemetery at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Friday, December 18, 2015 prior to the funeral service at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
