Dennis M. Condon , age 71 of Elwood, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 at Ascension-St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.  He was born May 21, 1952 in Beech Grove, the son of Russell V. and Wanda L. (Tanasovich) Condon.  Dennis was a 1970 graduate of South Port High School.  He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years.  Dennis formerly attended Faith Community Church and Vineyard Church in Indianapolis.  Dennis enjoyed a simple life; spending time outdoors; fishing; and walks in the woods.  He formerly enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and was a member of the N.R.A.  Dennis especially enjoyed companionship with his cat, "Kitty".  He will be greatly missed.

Dennis is survived by 3 children Chad A. (wife Tonya) Condon of Morgantown, Tina M. (husband Nick) Smith of West Elwood, and Adrianne (husband Shawn) Tuck of North Burlington, VT; brother, John (wife Maribel) Condon of Texas; sister, Karen (husband Hank) Siemon of Danville, IL; former spouse, Sheila Hardy of Indianapolis; 8 grandchildren, Brittany, Bristen, Bryce, Michael, Blake, Austin, Townes, and Oliver; a great-grandchild expected in 2024, Elias; and 8 nephews, Alex, Ruben, Jaxson, Jeremy, Caleb, Jed, Jordan, and Noah.  Dennis was preceded in death by both his parents.

Cremation will take place.  His ashes will be buried at a later date in Brown County.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Vineyard Church in Indianapolis.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.copherfeslermay.com.
