Deborah Lynn Goodman, age 49 of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.  She was born October 3, 1968 in Noblesville, the daughter of James Goodman and Sandra Sue (Baldwin) Bonisa.  She attended Frankton and Elwood schools.  She worked many years at Vest Cleaners where she was a clothes presser and attendant.  Deborah enjoyed fishing and also taking long rides in the country in old cars.  She especially liked to go to the Muncie Dragway and watch many of her family and friends race.  Deborah also loved to dance, and she liked all types of music from ACDC to the newest country hits.

Deborah's family includes 3 daughters, Shelby Beyers (Draevon Pratt) of Elwood, Brittany Beyers, and Leslie Beyers; longtime boyfriend, Bret Beyers of Fortville; 2 nieces, Haley Johnson and Sarah Johnson; nephew, Matthew Johnson; granddaughter, Ava Marie Pratt; and her best friend, Ronda (Lane) Cooper of Florida.  Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Julie Johnson.

A memorial service celebrating Deborah's life will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Rodney Ellis of the First Missionary Baptist Church officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service on Thursday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions are appreciated to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to help offset unexpected funeral expenses.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
