Deborah K. "Debbie" (Foor) Roan , age 54, of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent 86th Street Hospital in Indianapolis. Born May 3, 1971, in Elwood, she was the beloved daughter of John E. Foor and Karen K. (Eldridge) Stout. Debbie graduated from Elwood High School in 1989 and went on to earn her dental assisting degree from Professional Careers in Indianapolis. Throughout her career, she touched many lives with her kindness and dedication in the dental profession. More recently, she enjoyed her work as a waitress at Family Town Restaurant, where her warm spirit and friendly smile brightened the days of many. Debbie loved spending time in her garden, camping, and being surrounded by friends and family. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother, finding her greatest joy in the laughter and happiness of her grandchildren. Debbie will be remembered always as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, whose caring heart and gentle soul left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Karen (Jim) Stout of Elwood; father, John Foor, Jr. of Swayzee; daughter, Alexis Dulworth of Kokomo; son, Nathan (Aliyan) Dulworth of Elwood; 2 grandchildren, Kayleigh Spencer, and Ambrose Dulworth; sister, April (Tom) Clark of Tipton; nephew, Caleb (Kylie) Clark; niece, Jess Parker (Benny McCorkle); best-friends, Karena Stone, and Pam Ryan; and several extended family members and friends.
Debbie is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Catherine Foor, and Ellis "Bud" and Alberta Buttler; and sister, Kelley Jo Foor.
A funeral celebrating Debbie's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home with Pastor Dervin White officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place at a later date at Knox Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Copher-Fesler-May funeral home to help offset unexpected funeral costs. Online condolences and memories may be shared at copherfeslermay.com.
