Daniel "Danny" Charles Coplea, age 53 of Elwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness.  He was born on October 11, 1964 in Indianapolis, the son of Daniel C. and Joanie (Butler) Coplea, Jr.  Danny worked as a maintenance superintendent for various apartment complexes for many years, and had attained certification as an HVAC technician.  He was well known for his ability to fix just about anything, and for taking the necessary time to do every job properly.  He attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Noblesville.  Danny loved to collect music, especially rock-n-roll.  He will be remembered as a man who was always easy going and low key.

Danny's family includes 7 special cousins, Michelle S., April P., Renee K., Gerald Marcum, Jr., Ian F., Justin H., and Chie K.; good friend, Robert Price; and caretaker, Kristen.  Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
