Clark W. Miller, age 70 of Elwood, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Marion V.A. Medical Center in Marion after an extensive illness. He was born July 12, 1945 in Elwood, the son of Clark L. and Margaret B. (Tichner) Miller; and he was raised in Tipton. Clark worked at F.M.C. Corporation in Tipton for many years as a stock chaser and production worker. He had also formerly worked in landscaping and as a security guard in Florida. Clark was baptized in the Church of God; attended Tipton schools; and later served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1966. He was a proud veteran and lifetime member of the Elwood V.F.W. post 5782. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing – and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Clark's family includes a brother, (locksmith) Paul Miller of Elwood; sister, Linda Moss of Tipton; son, Paul; step-daughter, Pam (husband Gary) Langley of Tipton; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 spouses, Paulette (Underwood) Miller in 1986 and Karen (Kleyla) Miller in 2015; 2 brothers, John Miller and Clyde Miller; sister, Collene Modlin; and brother-in-law, Dillard Moss.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Marion National Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Ben Capshaw of Central Wesleyan Church officiating. Military honors will be provided by the US. Army and the Elwood V.F.W. Honor Guard. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood prior to departing for the cemetery.
