Christopher Ryan Green, age 25 of Elwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital following a sudden illness.  He was born March 1, 1993 in Noblesville, and he was the son of Matt and Kristy (Thompson) Green.  He attended Elwood Community High School, where he was active in football, wrestling, and basketball sports.  Chris worked for Ron Howard Construction Company in Noblesville for several years, and enjoyed his work very much.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car racing with his dad.  He was especially known for loving to spend time with his family and helping them in any way possible.  Chris was absolutely adored as an uncle, and his nieces and nephew always called him "Uncle Boo".  He will also be remembered for being friendly to everyone and being a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Chris' family includes his mother and father, Kristy and Matt Green of Elwood; 3 brothers, Jordan (wife Ann) Guzman of Noblesville, Matthew Guzman of Noblesville, and Logan Green of Peru; 1 sister, Ashley Green of Elwood; grandmothers, Carolyn Thompson of Noblesville and Jane Green of Indianapolis; uncle, Darren (wife Abby) Thompson of Indianapolis; aunt, Shelly Guzman of Noblesville; nephew, Aiden; and nieces, Sophia, Mia, and Evalynn.  Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry M. Thompson and his brother, Nick Green who died in 2014.

A funeral service celebrating Christopher's life will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Seth Lehman of the Noblesville Baptist Church officiating.  Cremation will take place following the services.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm prior to the funeral on Monday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home to help the family offset unexpected funeral expenses.  A Go-Fund-Me account has been set up under "Christopher Green Funeral Expenses".  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
