Charlotte Angeline Williams, age 89 of Elwood, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born on October 7, 1921 in Atlanta - the daughter of William and Orpha (Dellinger) Idle. She retired from Continental Can Corporation in Elwood after 25 years of service, and she was also a homemaker. She was a 1939 graduate of Elwood High School. She married Eugene P. Williams in 1939. Charlotte was baptized and was a devoted member at East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood.

Survivors include: 3 Children – Mike and wife Fran Williams of Elwood, Kathleen Williams of Malin, OR, and Stephen and wife Ruth Williams of Noblesville; Brother – Kenneth and wife Flo Ann Idle of Bryan, OH; 7 Grandchildren – Carol and husband Bryan Niksch, Karen and husband Dan Johnson, Jeffrey Maish, Scott and wife Maggie Williams, Michelle Pavan, Matthew Williams, and Stephanie Williams; 7 Great-Grandchildren – Michael Pavan, Justin and wife Jhade Pavan, Andria Worland, Katelyn Williams, Jenna Williams, Peyton Niksch and Hunter Niksch.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Eugene P. Williams who died in 1972; Daughter - Patricia Maish; Brother Howard Idle; and 3 Sisters – Thelma Robfogel, Leota Fowler and Mildred Mauck.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Roger Gardner of East Main Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Friday, August 12, 2011 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
