Carol (Dianne)
Adams
Jan 25, 1950 — Jul 25, 2018
Carol "Dianne" Adams, age 68 of Elwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following a brief illness. She was born January 25, 1950 in Evansville, Tennessee, the daughter of James and Myrtle Delores (Gothard) Crowe. Dianne worked as a store clerk at Harvest Supermarket for 16 years and previously as a waitress at various restaurants. She married the love of her life, James L. Adams, on February 10, 1968 and they shared 50 years of marriage together. Dianne was a loving and supportive military wife for 20 years while Jim served in the U.S. Air Force. She especially enjoyed watching CNN and the Golden Girls. Dianne was very outgoing and never met a stranger as she was known to enjoy going out to eat so she could socialize with everyone. She was a generous and giving woman often times buying other's food anonymously. More than anything, Dianne always put her family first as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Dianne's family includes her husband, James L. Adams of Elwood; daughter, Tammy (husband Mike) Goins of Noblesville; granddaughter, Kate Goins; brother-in-law, John (wife Jean) Adams; and several nieces and nephews. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Charles Crowe, Mike Crowe, and Fred Crowe; sister, Pat Broadfoot; and 3 infant children at birth.
