Bradley Steven Pickett, age 49 of Indianapolis, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born May 15, 1965 in Noblesville, the son of Steven F. and Lynnette G. (Millikan) Pickett. He worked as a bartender and server at Greg's Bar and Restaurant in Indianapolis, and formerly worked at a machine shop for several years. Brad attended Ball State University and majored in psychology; and he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was a member of the Aroma United Methodist Church. Brad enjoyed working on floral arrangements, crafts, gardening; and enjoyed music. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Brad's family includes his parents, Steven and Lynnette (Millikan) Pickett of Frankton; 4 children, Jessica Andresen of Indianapolis, Amanda Easterly of Yorktown, Steven Pickett of Daleville, and Jeanne Pickett of Hagerstown; paternal grandmother, Mary Eppelheimer of Tipton; brother, Mark A. (Jan) Pickett of Arcadia; 4 grandchildren; Sara Fenton, Abbigail Easterly, Ethan Easterly, and Declan Morgan; former spouse and best friend, Teresa Pickett of Yorktown; and nephew, Zachary Pickett. Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services celebrating Brad's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Dick Judson and Pastor Ken Mansfield officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Aroma Cemetery in Atlanta. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Aroma Cemetery Maintenance Fund through the funeral home.
