Beverly B. Miller, age 85 of Kissimmee Florida and formerly of Elwood, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, FL following an extended illness. She was born September 25, 1930 in Elwood, the daughter of Wayne V. and Mildred B. (Murray) Balser. Beverly worked at Airfoil Textron Corporation (formerly Ex-Cell-O Corporation) in Elwood for more than 36 years, and retired in 1993 from her position as a Production Supervisor. She was a 1948 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School, and later married Charles B. Miller on May 11, 1949. She formerly attended the First Baptist Church in Elwood, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time with her family members in the warm climate of Florida.
Beverly's living family includes her brother Tim (wife Barbara) Balser of Kissimmee, FL; nieces and nephews, Cindy (husband Tom) Yaden of Martinsville, David (wife Christy) Sullivan of Elwood, Beth Ann Lee of Tipton, Debbie Heffelmire of Cicero, and Dan (wife Kumi) Balser of Kissimmee, FL; and great nieces and nephews, Tina Gentry, Tim Gentry, David Sullivan, Jenny Hunter, Chad Addair, Christopher Lee, and Miracle Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Charles Miller who passed away in 1994; brother Ralph Murray Balser; and her sister Jennetta Joyce Sullivan.
Funeral services celebrating Beverly's life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Tom King officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
