Beverly J. (Hahn) Campbell, age 88 of Elwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following an extended illness.  She was born on November 15, 1928 in Elwood, the daughter of Weldon and Dorthea (Schlosser) Hahn.  Beverly was a homemaker and also worked at Harvest Market in Elwood for many years. She also formerly worked at the Elwood High School cafeteria.  She attended Elwood schools, and married Edgar Campbell on May 3, 1947, and they shared over 60 years of marriage together.  Beverly enjoyed reading, camping with her family, cooking, and was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority in Elwood.  She was especially devoted to all her family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beverly's family includes her son, Chris (wife Beth) Campbell of Elwood; daughter, Cindy (husband Bill) Jackson of Elwood; daughter-in-law, Teresa Campbell of Leesburg, FL; 7 grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Kyle Campbell, Kim Harpel, Maria Campbell, Michael Jackson, Ashley Shaffer, and Casey Jackson; 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar Campbell in 2008; son, Tim Campbell; daughter, Ava Louise Davis; 2 grandchildren, Josh and Ryan Barnett; and a great-granddaughter, Abigale Grace Jackson.

A funeral service celebrating Beverly's life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Pastor Bill Johnston of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery in Elwood.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the funeral at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent Mercy Hospital Foundation or the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.  Online expressions of condolence may be made at copherfeslermay.com.
