Betty was born November 13, 1926 in Elwood to Robert and Marietta (Cook) Wittkamper. She was a 1946 graduate of Norwood High School in Ohio and then attended Campbell Business College in Cincinnati, Ohio. She married Cecil "Randy" William Randall in 1946 and shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 1994. Betty and Randy enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and were amusement park enthusiasts. Betty worked as an Executive Secretary for General Electric in Evandale, Ohio for 25 years and retired in 1988. She was a lifelong member of East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood. Betty enjoyed such things as gardening, sewing, and playing cards while also taking great pride in her home with remodeling and decorating projects. She was an avid NASCAR fan – especially in regards to Jeff Gordon. Finally, she had an appreciation for airplanes while serving with the CAP in addition to her previous work within the jet engine division at General Electric. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and she will always be remembered as the "rock" of her family with an enormous amount of wisdom and love.
