Obituary

Annette Marie Williams, age 62 of Aurora, CO and formerly of Elwood, IN, died October 10, 2017 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO from complications of Multiple Myeloma, the cancer that took her Mother 49 years ago, and Amyloidosis.  She was surrounded by loving family members and friends.  Ann was born September 16, 1955 in Elwood, IN to John Michael "Mick" and Mary Ann (Biltz) Williams.

Ann attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Elwood and graduated from Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN.  She received an MBA from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and earned a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Colorado Denver.  She had worked as a systems manager and an accountant.  She was formerly a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood, IN and the St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse, IN.  Ann was a current member of the parish of The Church of the Good Shepherd in Denver, CO, where she served as a religious education teacher for the kindergarten children.

She was passionate about her sons and her faith, as well as her entire family and many friends.  She made a point to keep in touch with friends from each aspect of her life, to always reach out to anyone traveling to or through Denver and especially to pray for anyone in need.  Ann's caring and giving tradition continues through the donation of her organs for research of Amyloidosis.

Ann's family legacy includes two sons, William Thieme of Greenwood Village, CO and Michael Thieme of Boulder, CO; siblings, Terri Wentz (husband Orv Myers) of Goshen, IN, Karen (husband Randy) Tunis of Elwood, IN, Joe (wife Debbie) Williams of Goodyear, AZ, Betsy Williams of Leesburg, IN, and Vince Williams of Indianapolis, IN; her beloved, Pat Costello of Aurora, CO and his  children, Kurt Costello, Kendell Aitchison, and Katie Costello; Pat's grandchildren who lovingly renamed her "Annie", Billy, Bryce, and Audrey Aitchison all of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews.  Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tim Williams; and a nephew, Eric Wentz.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood, and will include a Rosary prayer service at 7:30 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be offered by Father Dan Duff at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elwood.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elwood.  Visitation will also be held prior to the funeral mass from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home before the procession departs to the church.
