Obituary

Albert Ronald Faunce, age 76 of Anderson, and formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood following extensive health problems. Albert was born on September 5, 1938 in Richmond, the son of Frank and Leota (Elliott) Faunce. He was employed for over 35 years at PSI Dental Company as a sales representative. Following graduation from high school, he obtained an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He later obtained his Master's degree in education from Ball State University. Albert was formerly the head football coach at Marion High School, and later worked as assistant football coach at Ball State University. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He married Cynthia A. (Kochman) on February 2, 2003. He was a very intelligent man, and was always known to be on the cutting edge of technology. Albert loved working with electronics and doing computer research on various subjects. He also enjoyed reading, watching Fox News coverage, and was a loyal member of the Republican party. He was especially fond of animals. More than anything, he loved and cherished his family.

Albert's family includes his wife of 12 years, Cynthia A. Faunce of Anderson; 3 children, Jay (wife Suzanne) Faunce of Altamonte Springs, FL, Susie (husband Michael) Goldstein of Phoenix, AZ, and Randy (wife Cindy) Faunce of Indianapolis; twin brother, Frank Faunce of Peachtree City, GA; sister, Mary Lou (husband Robert) Torres of San Jose', CA; 2 step-daughters, Sherry Hyman of Elwood, and Lori (husband Ron) VanDormotten of New Haven; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Ashley, Allison, Wendy, and Erica; 3 step-grandchildren, Amanda, Lain, Cole; 2 step great-grandchildren, Braden and Ripley; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Carol Lewellen of Elwood; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Kochman of Elwood. Albert was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date. Cremation will take place. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal Street, Anderson, IN 46012.
