Martha E. McFall, age 81 of West Elwood, died Monday September 10, 2012 at I.U. Tipton Hospital in Tipton after a very brief illness. She was born October 1, 1930 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of Jason and Effie (Dye) Roy. She was a homemaker most of her life. Martha married Herbert E. McFall on November 27, 1954. She was a volunteer at Round Robin’s Bingo Hall in Marion for many years, and enjoyed volunteering with her sister. She formerly enjoyed roller skating in her younger years; and along with her husband, was a stock car racing enthusiast for many years when her husband was a racecar driver. Martha was a devoted wife and mother – and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family includes her husband of nearly 58 years, Herbert E. McFall of Elwood; daughter, Lisa McFall-Sullivan (husband Dennis) of Tipton; son Bruce (wife Mary) McFall of Elwood; sister, Elizabeth (husband Winfred) Dalton of Fairmount; 4 grandchildren, Sara (husband John) Davis, Beau Manes, Drew Manes and Ali Manes; 6 great-grandchildren, Candice Davis, Johnny Davis, Jr., William Davis, Haley Manes, Mariah Manes, and Lillyanna Manes; and several nieces and nephews including special niece, Pam (husband Phil) Voegel and special nephew, Edward Hardwick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings, Howard Roy, Lee Roy, Ronald Roy, Lonnie Gerstorff, Flonnie Floyd, Josephine Huey, and Zelma Hardwick.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Mary Hofer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elk’s Cancer Fund at the Tipton Lodge #1012 through the funeral home. Online condolences:
